Humans are social beings and cannot exist without being a part of a collective. Those who drink alone in bars or sing songs of loneliness online have never truly experienced the feeling of being alone. From birth, we are part of a collective, starting with our families and then moving on to schools.
Our attitudes towards these new environments reflect how we will approach society in the future. After completing our studies, we enter the workforce and face a more social and competitive collective. In the workplace, there are three things we should avoid doing if we don't want to be looked down upon: not seizing opportunities, not working hard enough, and not having a collective mindset.
