Dave Coulier opens up about the rumored feud between Fuller House co-stars, Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron-Bure. Playing Uncle Joey in the original Full House series, Coulier returned to the small screen as the beloved Tanner family friend in the 2016 Netflix spin-off. Having worked extensively with both Sweetin and Cameron-Bure, he speaks up about the pair's alleged falling out.

After Fuller House ended with season 5, Coulier is revisiting the franchise with a new podcast, Full House Rewind. In a new interview with Yahoo! to promote it, he comments on Sweetin and Cameron's long-rumored conflict, saying that he has "always been Switzerland," meaning he maintains a neutral stance. However, he emphasizes that much like any ordinary family, the Full House cast tends to have their issues, which get eventually resolved.

Everybody kind of tells me, 'Oh, here's what she said.' But we're like a family, you know? We bicker, we argue, we call people out on their stuff. We have problems with each other, but at the end of the day, we love each other and we kind work through it. I mean, we've been through pickups, cancellations, births, deaths, marriages, divorces — the stuff that any family goes through.

Candace Cameron-Bure and Jodie Sweetin's Rumored Feud Explained

In late 2022, news broke out that Sweetin and Cameron-Bure had a falling out due to their contradicting views on same-sex marriage. The issue started after Cameron-Bure made her controversial statement about "traditional marriage" being at the core of Great American Family. Her remarks quickly garnered various comments from the public and her peers.

While Sweetin never shared her opinion on the matter, she expressed her support of Jojo Siwa, who openly criticized Cameron-Bure.

Subsequently, Full House's DJ actress unfollowed her on-screen sister on Instagram, further fueling their feud. Meanwhile, Sweeting continues to be vocal about her support of inclusivity. Since the incident happened, however, the pair has already reunited publicly. In March 2023, the pair, alongside Andrea Barber and Coulier, attended '90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut.

Despite appearing friendly with each other, the pair didn't address the rumors of their falling out swirling around, which remains the case until now. In fact, only Coulier has commented on it.

More recently, Cameron-Bure found herself in another controversy after Miss Benny claimed that she was forcibly dropped from Fuller House because someone from the cast didn't want her and her character, who was the first gay player in the franchise.

While she didn't name any cast member, her clues pointed toward Cameron-Bure. For her part, however, the Aurora Teagarden actress was quick to deny the issue.
