1. Persistent Cough It is usually continuous and intermittent, with an irritating dry cough. There may also be a small amount of phlegm or white foamy sputum, and some patients may cough up blood.
2. Hoarseness Hoarseness is one of the symptoms that lung cancer may cause. The tumor directly affects or compresses the recurrent laryngeal nerve, causing the throat to be unable to produce normal sound.
3. Associated Symptoms Lung cancer usually has some associated symptoms, such as clubbed fingers, pain and swelling in the limbs, myasthenia gravis, hypercalcemia.
4. Chest Tightness and Pain Lung cancer can also cause chest pain, which is mostly irregular dull pain or hidden pain in the chest.
It may worsen with breathing, coughing, or changes in body position.
